COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR TREATING BRAIN CANCER

<p>It is discovered that noscapine is effective in treating temozolomide (TMZ)-resistant brain cancer. Provided are compositions and methods of treating brain cancer patients, in particular those that are TMZ-resistant. The patients are treated by administration of a therapeutically effective amount of noscapine or an analog thereof. In certain aspects, TMZ is also administered to the patients. Examples of brain cancers include glioma such as glioblastoma multiforme.</p>
