<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure visibility of a sound code of each note even in the case of reduced display of a musical score area. <P>SOLUTION: A music data DB designating pitches, sound production time points, durations, and sound codes X4 per note is stored in a storage device. A display control unit is means for displaying, per note, note graphics V to which lengths in a time axis direction are set in accordance with durations designated by the music data DB, in positions corresponding to pitches and sound production time points designated by the music data DB, in a musical score area 51 to which a pitch axis and a time axis are set. In a first display state where a display scale factor R is high, sound codes X4 designated to respective notes by the music data DB are arranged inside the note graphics V of the notes.
