<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dye excellent in solubility and heat resistance and a novel compound suitable for the dye, particularly a yellow dye having a maximum absorption wavelength in the range of 400 to 470 nm, a coloring (alkali developability) photosensitive composition using the dye, and an optical filter using the coloring (alkali developability) photosensitive composition and a color filter suitable for an image display such as a liquid crystal display panel without decreasing luminance. <P>SOLUTION: A compound used as the dye is represented by formula (1) (wherein A is a benzene ring, a naphthalene ring or an anthracene ring; R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>is hydrogen, phenyl, cyano, nitro, 1-8C alkyl or the like; n is an integer of 3 to 6; and X is nitrogen, sulfur, phosphorus or the like). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
