<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gateway apparatus, a communication system, an access apparatus and a message transmission method, each being capable of controlling messages to be exchanged within the communication system, in a manner not to consume a wasteful resource in the communication system having an apparatus operated with a power saving mode. <P>SOLUTION: A gateway apparatus 20 comprises: a management unit 21 for managing the power saving mode of a plurality of access apparatuses 11-13 connected to communication terminals 51-53; and a control unit 22 for controlling to reduce the number of messages to be transmitted to an access apparatus, having the power saving mode set thereto, among the plurality of access apparatuses 11-13, as compared to a case when a normal power mode is set thereto. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
