<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote monitoring terminal device for a traveling work machine or ship which enables a user to grasp a maximum value, a minimum value and an average value of each sensor, the number of times of switching-on, and the like. <P>SOLUTION: A remote monitoring terminal device 200 comprises connecting terminals T, ..., a data summary control section 242 and a communication section 210. On the basis of data about an operating state acquired via the connecting terminals T, ..., and stored in a data storage section 260, the data summary control section 242 calculates minimum values, maximum values and average values of data from activation to latest data acquisition and actual operation data relating to actual operation, the number of times of generating a predetermined event and the time of the generation.
