摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further enhance the estimation accuracy of the residual life of a high chromium steel pipe used in steam piping for power, or the like. <P>SOLUTION: A residual life estimation method for estimating the residual life of a high chromium steel pipe integrated by welding mother members made of high chromium steel to each other and circulating a high-temperature high-pressure fluid over a long term, includes: acquiring a constant number indicating a product between a strain rate and a rupture time in a Monkman-Grant method by using a steel pipe sample obtained by simulating the high chromium steel pipe (S1); measuring strain of a steel pipe surface by a strain sensor attached to a position on an outer surface of the high chromium steel pipe and astride the base member and a weld material (S2); recording a plurality of times strain information showing stain of the outer surface measured by the strain sensor in association with time information showing a measuring point of time (S2); and estimating the residual life of the high chromium steel pipe from a plurality of sets of the strain information and the time information, and the constant number (S5). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
