<p>This linear motor device is equipped with a linear motor and a controller which applies a load to an object to be pressurized by causing a movable part of the linear motor to move. After causing the movable part to move toward the object to be pressurized at a previously determined first speed on the basis of a position control, and as the movable part begins to apply pressure to the object to be pressurized, the controller controls the movement of the movable part by reducing speed to a second speed which is slower than the first speed and which maintains the pressure applied to the object to be pressurized at or below a certain pressure, and causes the movable part to move until the electric current flowing to the linear motor reaches a previously determined electric current limit value or higher.</p> |
