The preferred embodiment is the construction method of an apparatus suitable for microalgae culture which is a provision of shallow dam & fall arrangement in a photobioreactor comprising two chambers, a collection reservoir that are kept air tight and facilitating larger culture volume to photobioreactor space ratio, effective removal of oxygen from the culture, easier cleaning inside the photobioreactor and that may be designed to build into or associated with the roof of a building.
