<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce user operation errors and improve user operability in the case that the operability of a model of a device that a user is currently using is different from the operability of a model of a device that the user was formerly using. <P>SOLUTION: An operation auxiliary notification device includes: storage means for storing operability information on each operation item of each device model; registration means for registering operability information; and device model setting means for setting a model of a device that a user was formerly using that is different from a model of a device that the user is currently using, on the device that the user is currently using. On the model of the device that the user is currently using, determination means determines whether or not an operation whose operability information is different on the model of the device set with the setting means and on the model of the device that the user is currently using has been executed.
