<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking assist device that can properly assist a driver to park a vehicle in a parking space even without a white line drawn on a road surface as a boundary between parking areas arranged in a vehicle width direction. <P>SOLUTION: The parking assist device is configured to: detect a vehicle stopper K made of concrete, or the like, extending in a vehicle width direction based on a bird 's eye view image that is an image P0 captured by a camera 10 (imaging device) and converted into the bird 's eye view image; and set a boundary line L between two parking areas R, R adjacent to each other in the vehicle width direction based on the detected vehicle stopper K, thereby properly assisting in parking the vehicle in a parking area having no white line drawn on the surface as a boundary line L. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
