ULTRASONIC DIAGNOSTIC APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency of an ultrasonic inspection utilizing a puncture needle.

SOLUTION: An ultrasonic probe 3 transmits and receives ultrasonic waves. A tissue characterization information measurement part 23 measures tissue characterization information on the basis of echo signals from the ultrasonic probe 3. An input part 31 inputs a piercing angle of the puncture needle pierced into a subject. A first estimation part 25 estimates a predicted route of the puncture needle 100 inside the subject on the basis of the tissue characterization information and the piercing angle. A display part 29 displays the predicted route.
