A skewering machine (10) has: a first base part (14) on which material is placed; a second base part (32) provided with a groove part in which a skewer (1) is set before discharge; a skewer accommodating part (40) that accommodates skewers (1)to be set in the groove (30) of the second base part (32); and a striking part (36) for applying a striking force to the skewer (1) that has been set in the groove (30) in the second base part (32) and discharging the same in a prescribed direction. The skewering machine is characterized by the groove (30) in the second base part (32) having a skewer pinching part (30A) that pinches only one skewer (1) and by the striking part (36) applying striking force to the one skewer (1) pinched in the skewer pinching part (30A).
