The present invention pertains to a bicarbonate dialysis agent that is free of acetic acid and citric acid, is safe, is easy to handle during production and during use, and has excellent safety during storage, concentrate preparation, and dialysate preparation; more specifically, the present invention pertains to a bicarbonate dialysis agent comprising: an A agent that includes gluconic acid and/or glucono-delta-lactone and gluconate but does not include acetic acid, citric acid, or sodium hydrogen carbonate; and a B agent that includes sodium hydrogen carbonate.
