<p>Disclosed are a deactivation management method and device for a timing reference cell. The method includes: a terminal device executing processing to make a timing reference cell in a timing advance (TA) group be the cell with the longest activation time in the TA group. In the embodiments of the present invention, it can be ensured that if there is any uplink data transmission demand in any one cell of a TA group, the timing reference cell in the TA group will not be deactivated, and it can be ensured that the downlink timing of the timing reference cell can be obtained accurately, thus ensuring that the uplink transmission can arrive at a base station at the time expected by the base station.</p> |
