<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a person detection device, a person detection method and a person detection program capable of exactly detecting a person without searching for a corresponding point in one image for every point in the other image of right and left images as in a conventional case. <P>SOLUTION: A person detection camera 1 has: an edge image generation part (S1) which generates an edge image formed by extracting an edge part from one of two images obtained by performing imaging by two imaging parts arranged at fixed distance; a circle extraction part (S2) which extracts the shapes of a circle or approximately the circle from the edge image; a parallax search part (S4) which performs parallax search to the other image based on an image of an internal area of the shape in order to detect presence/absence of the same or similar image as the image of the internal area of the extracted shape in the other image of the two images; and a head determination part (S5) which determines whether or not the image of the extracted shape is an image of the head of a person based on results of the parallax search. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
