摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a technique which is capable of suppressing the degradation of image quality by notifying a source device of the number of pixels in an integrated screen in consideration of the numbers of pixels in overlapping areas of respective projection screens and inputting an image not needing scaling. <P>SOLUTION: In a projection system which includes a plurality of projection devices and an information processing apparatus having the plurality of projection devices connected thereto and displays one image in an integrated screen into which projection screens of the respective projection devices are joined, the information processing apparatus includes: image receiving means for receiving an image from an image supply source; image transmission means for distributing the image received by the image receiving means to the plurality of projection devices; acquisition means for acquiring, from the respective projection devices, the number of pixels of images suitable for the projection screens of the projection devices and the number of pixels in overlapping areas of the projection screens; calculation means for calculating the number of pixels in the integrated screen from the number of pixels of the projection screens and the number of pixels in the overlapping areas, which are acquired by the acquisition means; and notification means for notifying the image supply source of the number of pixels in the integrated screen, which is calculated by the calculation means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
