<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a target conveying device that can suppress uneven drying of a target subjected to recording processing by adhesion of liquid while performing suction for securing planarity of the target in a conveyance process of the target, and to provide a recording apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: An inkjet-type printer includes: a platen 30 having a support surface 30a which can support a recording sheet P conveyed by a conveyor belt 21 from the upstream side toward the downstream side, where a long groove 31a of a suction hole 31 for generating a negative pressure when sucked is formed on the support surface 30a; a heater for heating the platen 30; and an auxiliary platen 40 that heats the recording paper P through the conveyor belt 21 in such a way that a temperature difference is suppressed which is generated on the recording paper P by uneven distribution of the long groove 31a of the suction hole 31 whose temperature is relatively low in the platen 30 when heat from the heater is applied to the recording paper P through the support surface 30a of the platen 30 and the conveyor belt 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
