<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a mechanism for regulating movement of an intermediate member while saving a space, in a lockup device having a piston and a damper mechanism which are disposed at separate locations. <P>SOLUTION: A lockup device includes a clutch 24 and a damper mechanism 25. The damper mechanism 25 has an input plate 61, an output plate 62, a plurality of torsion springs, an intermediate member 64, and a regulating member 65. An intermediate member 64 causes at least two of the plurality of torsion springs 63 to act in series. The regulating member 65 is fastened to a clutch output member 27 of the clutch 24, and is disposed such that part of the intermediate member 64 is sandwiched between the regulating member and the input plate 61. Movement of the intermediate member 64 in a radial direction is regulated by the clutch output member 27, and movement thereof in the axial direction is regulated by the input plate 61 and the regulating member 65. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
