The converter (200) has two transistors connected in series between supply voltage and ground. A first time module (202) is provided to determine first time difference between first edge of first signal to junction and first edge of second signal at control terminal of first transistor. A second timing module (210) is provided to determine time difference between second edges of two signals. Two edges of second signal are made to correspond with pulse width modulation (PWM) pulse edges. The delay modules (206,214) are provided to delay edges of second signal based on time difference.
