An active matrix substrate comprises: a plurality of first wiring lines which extend parallel to each other at least in a display region; and a plurality of second wiring lines which extend parallel to each other at least in a display region and intersect with the plurality of first wiring lines with an insulating film interposed therebetween. The active matrix substrate also comprises: a plurality of lead-out wiring lines (400) that connect one-side ends of the plurality of first wiring lines and/or the plurality of second wiring lines to a driver and extend at a distance from each other in a non-display region; and a plurality of redundant wiring lines (600) that extend along the plurality of lead-out wiring lines (400) with an insulating film interposed therebetween. Each one of the plurality of lead-out wiring lines (400) overlaps an overlapping portion of one of the plurality of redundant wiring lines (600) when viewed in plan. Each one of the plurality of redundant wiring lines (600) is shorter than the length of one of the plurality of lead-out wiring lines that overlap in the overlapping portions.
