<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with a moving component such as a piston, achieve high durability, and obtain a necessary pressure even if a heat source temperature is low during use of a thermoacoustic engine. <P>SOLUTION: A thermoacoustic pump 10 includes: a thermoacoustic engine 11 wherein a heating part 18 performing heat exchange with a heat source, a stack 19 and a cooling part 20 are arranged in a pipe part 17 filled with a working fluid; a suction pipe 12 connected to the pipe part 17 of the thermoacoustic engine 11; a check valve 13 for suction attached to the suction pipe 12 to allow a flow toward the thermoacoustic engine 11 while blocking the reverse flow; a discharge pipe 14 connected to the pipe part 17 of the thermoacoustic engine 11; a check valve 15 for discharge attached to the discharge pipe 14 to block the flow toward the thermoacoustic engine 11 while allowing the reverse flow; an electric heater 26 arranged in the heating part 18 of the thermoacoustic engine 11; and a control mechanism 27 actuating the electric heater 26 when temperature of the heat source is lowered. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
