According to an aspect of the present invention, a method for preparing a tin-silver alloy plating solution including methanesulfonic tin, methanesulfonic silver, methanesulfonic acid, and an additive comprises: a first step of removing impurities such as a chloride compound and a sulfuric compound which are released in the methanesulfonic acid; a second step of dissolving tin and silver respectively through an electrolytic process in the methanesulfonic acid with the impurities removed and thus producing methanesulfonic silver and methanesulfonic tin respectively; a third step of producing a mixture solution by inputting the methanesulfonic acid, the methanesulfonic tin, the methanesulfonic silver, and the additive; and a fourth step of filtering the mixture solution. Therefore, the present invention provides is effective in increasing current efficiency and maintaining a plated film by preparing the tin-silver alloy plating solution after removing impurities from a raw material of methanesulfonic acid.
