The invention is a virtual computer control method in which a management server controls a virtual computer and a virtualization unit. In said virtual computer control method: a specified trigger is detected; a virtual computer to be moved is identified on the basis of preset trigger definition information; a physical computer to be moved to is set on the basis of a preset first control pattern; a first plan for moving the virtual computer to be moved to the physical computer to be moved to is generated; the first control pattern is converted to a second control pattern on the basis of set conversion definition information; a second plan for moving the virtual computer to the physical computer to be moved to is generated on the basis of the second control pattern; an evaluation value for the first plan and an evaluation value for the second plan are computed and compared; and one of the plans is selected as the execution plan, the evaluation value of said selected plan satisfying a specified condition.
