The conveyor system for planar products (60), particularly print-shop products, comprises a feeder device (50) and a gripper conveyor (10) having a plurality of grippers (12) moved along an orbit (U), wherein the grippers (12) each have two gripper parts (14, 16), which can be pivoted between an open position and a closed position relative to one another. The position of the gripper parts (14, 16) relative to one another and/or the orientation of the entire gripper (12) in space is set, as a function of the position along the orbit by means of at least one control device, which comprises at least one control gate (28, 30, 40, 80, 80') interacting with the grippers, such that the gripper parts (14, 16) can be transferred from the open position to the closed position in a transfer region (A) of the orbit (U) for transferring the products (60) from the feeder device (50). For the targeted rejection of individual products (60), particularly defective products, the grippers can be controlled such that selectively individual grippers (12) can be moved through the transfer region (A) without receiving a product (60) from the feeder device (50). To this end, preferably controllable opening and/or closing gates (30, 80, 80') and/or controllable positioning gates (40) are used. |
