<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably prevent unauthorized access from an external apparatus, and improve usability for a user. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 100 is connectable to an external apparatus 200 via a wireless LAN, receives a processing request from the external apparatus by wireless communication, and performs processing corresponding to the processing request.
