<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power amplifier that can compensate for a distortion without deteriorating a gain in input voltage. <P>SOLUTION: A power amplifier 400 includes: an input terminal to which an input voltage is applied; a power amplification circuit 100 capable of class AB operation connected to the input terminal; and a pre-distorter 200 connected between the input terminal and the power amplification section, and configured to turn on when the input voltage is equal to or greater than a predetermined value and to vary in impedance with the input voltage.
