摘要 This technique relates to an earhole attachment-type sound pickup device, a signal processing device, and a sound pickup method with which it is possible to achieve high-S/N-ratio voice pickup in which the influence of noise is reduced without using noise reduction processing. As an earhole attachment-type sound pickup device, a microphone that picks up spoken voice is provided in a space that is substantially hermetically sealed from the outside and that is in communication with the external auditory meatus of a wearer (speaker). By being provided in a space hermetically sealed from the outside, the device picks up spoken voice propagated via the external auditory meatus of the speaker. Because spoken voice components predominate over noise components, particularly at low frequencies, in a sound pickup signal acquired via the external auditory meatus, it is possible to improve the S/N ratio of the spoken-voice sound pickup signal by extracting the low-frequency components in the sound pickup signal by using an LPF, for example. Alternatively, sound quality can be improved by subjecting the sound pickup signal to an equalizing process for reducing muffled noise generated at the time of picking up sound via the external auditory meatus.
