The roller blind system (12) has a flexible planar formation (32) and a winding shaft (30) rotatably mounted around a main axis at a vehicle-fixed base (20) of the roller blind system. The planar formation is wound in a storage state on the winding shaft. A pull-out element (40) is provided at the side of the planar formation facing the winding shaft. The base and the pull-out element are adjusted to one another such that the touching contact is given between a middle center area (5) and a covering surface (24) in the area of elevations.
