PURPOSE: A light emitting device is provided to extend lateral luminance by using a protrusion part and a reflective layer for the light generated from an active layer. CONSTITUTION: Protrusion parts(112) are arranged on a support member(110). A reflective layer(113) coats the protrusion part. The reflective layer includes a first layer(113a) and a second layer(113b). The first layer has at least first refractive index. The second layer has a second refractive index which is different from the first refractive index.
