SEPARATOR AND NONAQUEOUS ELECTROLYTE SECONDARY BATTERY USING THE SAME

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve holding capability of electrolyte in a power generation element by changing porosity with a simple structure and achieve durability by increasing capacity retention during exposure to high temperature.

SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery formed by layering a positive electrode 5, a negative electrode 4 and a separator 6 having an inorganic layer A and sandwiched between the positive electrode 5 and the negative electrode 4 includes an inorganic layer non-forming section B not formed with the inorganic layer A on at least one end of the separator 6.
