<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface processing method for obtaining a stainless steel plate that has superior durability in an actual use environment and is suitable for use with a separator for solid polymer fuel battery. <P>SOLUTION: After anode electrolysis processing in which Cr transpassive dissolution reaction is caused is performed on a base surface of the stainless steel plate, formation processing for a Ni<SB POS="POST">3</SB>Sn<SB POS="POST">2</SB>layer is immediately performed. The anode electrolysis processing is carried out in a sodium sulfate solution under conditions of a concentration of the sodium sulfate solution of 0.5-2 mol/L, a temperature of 60-80°C, a current density of 3-7 A/dm<SP POS="POST">2</SP>, and an electrolysis time of 30-120 seconds. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
