<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continue print processing without increasing time and labor of a user, even when a sheet is diagonally transported to a carrying direction. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging part takes a picture of a sheet when a carrying direction upstream edge of the sheet taken out of a sheet cassette passes the resist roller pair. The imaging part detects the end of the direction that an image analysis part is orthogonal to the carrying direction of the sheet from the obtained image data, and the skew amount calculation part calculates the amount of the skew. If the amount of a calculation skew is larger than the amount of a reference skew, a control part discontinues the image forming by an inkjet head. The surface of the conveyor belt is cleaned by the cleaning part immediately after the control of the image forming cancel when the control to discontinue the image forming during the image forming is done, and the following sheet is made to be taken out of the sheet cassette and the identical image is made to be printed.
