A CPU in a terminal device, that: classifies messages included in a browsing response, by thread; counts the number of messages included in each thread; and determines the size of a circle in accordance with the count value. In addition, the CPU specifies an avatar image corresponding to identification information for a user, and arranges the avatar in the circle on the basis of time information. As a result, the circle becomes larger the greater the number of messages included in the thread.
