<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide twisted union yarn. <P>SOLUTION: The twisted union yarn is made by a carbon-fiber multifilament and a synthetic-fiber multifilament being mixedly twisted. The carbon fiber is intermittently cut, and a cut end thereof projects from a body of the twisted union yarn with a raised nap. When the carbon-fiber multifilament and the synthetic-fiber multifilament are torn trim and thereafter twisted, tension applied to the yarn and torsional action are generated to cause the carbon fiber to be cut, and thereby the twisted union yarn is formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
