<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a card connector which is being made short shorter by slightly deforming an overlap of a base member and a cover member thereof. <P>SOLUTION: A base member 11 and a cover member 12 are put one over the other to form a card housing space 13 which houses a card and a card insertion slot 14 linked thereto. A first contact 15 comes into elastic contact with an electrode pad provided to an upper surface of a card inserted into the card housing space 13 from above. The base member 11 has a region of a contact fixation part 111a formed one step higher at a front wall 11a of the base member 11. The cover member 12 has an upper wall 12a cut and folded to an outside surface of the front wall 11a of the base member 11 so as to expose the region of the contact fixation part 111a upward, and is combined with the base member 11 by connecting the cut upper wall 12a at the outside surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
