MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR ORGANIC ELECTROLUMINESCENT ELEMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for an organic EL element capable of forming an organic layer having a uniform film thickness in a light-emitting region using a discharging method.

SOLUTION: A manufacturing method for an organic EL element comprises the steps of: preparing an organic EL base material having a base material and a first electrode layer formed on the base material and defining a light-emitting region of the organic EL base material; and forming at least one organic layer by a discharging method among organic layers constituting an organic EL layer including a light-emitting layer in the light-emitting region. The organic layer formation step further comprises the steps of: forming a pool by applying a high-boiling-point solvent into the light-emitting region; forming a layer for organic layer formation by diffusing the organic layer material into the pool by applying a coating liquid for organic layers containing an organic layer material and a solvent into the light-emitting region in which the pool is formed by the discharging method; and forming the organic layer by drying the layer for organic layer formation.
