<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a duplex meter unit having a strength against stresses caused by connection of water service meters and caused by ground displacement. <P>SOLUTION: In a duplex meter unit, an upstream portion of the unit is divided to provide a plurality of rows of primary side pipings, the same row number of secondary side pipes as that of the primary side pipings are provided coaxially with the primary side pipings, respectively, and a plurality of water service meters are connected to meter detachable sections between the primary side pipings and the secondary side pipings in parallel. The duplex meter unit is provided with a rectangular metal frame which can be mounted in a lower basin of a meter box for accommodating the unit and is opened vertically, and the primary side pipings and the secondary side pipings are fixed respectively to the front and rear frames which are oppositely positioned on the primary side and the secondary side of the rectangular metal frame respectively such that all or parts of the meter detachable sections are located inside the opening of the rectangular metal frame. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
