<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reactor which has excellent productivity, a coil component for the reactor, a converter, and an electric power conversion device. <P>SOLUTION: A reactor 1 includes a coil component 20 where a cylindrical coil 2 formed by spirally winding a winding wire 2w; an inner core part 31 disposed at the inner side of the cylindrical coil 2; and a spacing member 5 disposed between the coil 2 and the inner core part 31 are integrally held by a resin mold part 21. The spacing member 5 maintains a fixed clearance between the coil 2 and the inner core part 31 and positions the coil 2 and the inner core part 31. Thus, the structure allows the resin mold part 21 to be easily housed in a mold which molds the resin mold part 21 and be molded with high accuracy and achieves good productivity of the coil component 20.
