PURPOSE: A counter balance for wire construction of a suspension bridge capable of automatically controlling tension is provided to maintain a wire in an optimal state without deformation of the wire by continuously generating even tension when the wire is installed. CONSTITUTION: A counter balance for wire construction of a suspension bridge capable of automatically controlling tension comprises a frame(31), a pulley(32), a weight plumb(33), a sensor(34), and a control unit(35). The frame includes a fixed height. The pulley is formed on the upper part of the frame in order to perform a smooth movement or a guiding role of a wire(13). The weight plump applies fixed loads to the wire passing through the pulley. The sensor senses the movement of the weight plumb. The control unit measures tension sensed from the sensor and continuously maintains the fixed tension at the wire. The control unit controls the movement of a reeler of a tail end. |
