PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibrating member or the like, which generates bending vibrations effectively. SOLUTION: The vibration apparatus comprises a vibrating member 20 producing a bending vibration on a predetermined member 18, and a control part 50 controlling so as to allow the vibrating member 20 to drive by a drive part 56, and is characterized in that the vibrating member 20 includes a plurality of drive electrode parts 32a-32d, 33a-33d electrically isolated mutually, and the control part 50 controls the degree of bending vibrations by varying relative phases of driving signals 85a-85d, 86a-86d, 87a-87d, and 88a-88d output respectively to a plurality of drive electrode parts.
