PURPOSE: A valve unit for a vehicle muffler is provided to control a flow of exhaust gas according to the pressure of the exhaust gas, thereby increasing an engine output, reducing booming sounds and current sounds, and simplifying components and reducing manufacturing costs. CONSTITUTION: A valve unit for a vehicle muffler comprises a fixed cap(120), a guide shaft(130), a sliding cap(140), and an elastic member(150). The fixed cap is mounted in one end of a connection pipe arranged in a tail pipe side. One end of the guide shaft is fixed to the fixed cap and arranged inside of the connection pipe. The sliding cap includes a main body(142) and a guide member(144) and is installed to be moved on the guide shaft. The elastic member is interposed between the sliding cap and the fixed cap while by being fitted into the guide shaft, thereby providing electric power to the sliding cap. |
