<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation control device for a double-deck elevator with improved operation efficiency of the elevator, by eliminating an operation halt time in the case where a failure in a car related to single-deck operation is detected during single-deck operation. <P>SOLUTION: The operation control device for a double-deck elevator is equipped with: cars disposed f elevating in a hoistway of the double-deck elevator and constituted by continuously and vertically arranging an upper car and a lower car; a failure detection device detecting a failure in the upper car and the lower car; a car switching control device switching the car used in the single-deck operation to the other car out of the upper and lower cars, when the failure detection device detects one of the cars used in the single-deck operation, during the single-deck operation of the double-deck elevator by using one of the upper and lower cars. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
