<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing copper, which can recover a useful precious metal rapidly, can effectively utilize the recovered metal, can remove impurities prior to an electrolysis step, improves an efficiency of dissolving copper by using a crude copper powder, and repeatedly uses sulfuric acid to efficiently produce an electrolytic copper. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing copper comprises: a copper powder dissolution step of dissolving the crude copper powder in a liquid containing an oxidizing agent and sulfuric acid to prepare a copper-dissolved solution; a filtration step of filtering the copper-dissolved solution to obtain a filtrate and a primary residue containing the precious metal; and an electrolysis step of using the filtrate as a copper electrolytic solution and electrolyzing the copper electrolytic solution to produce electrolytic copper. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
