PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impact detector detecting impact received by an article in a plurality of different directions causing a quality deterioration and retaining the record of impact. SOLUTION: When the impact is small, a weight 6 cannot pass through the first protrusion shaped parts 3c. When the impact can just push and stretch the protrusion shaped parts 3c, the weight 6 pushes and stretches the space between the protrusion shaped parts 3c, and moved downward, but cannot go over the second protrusion shaped parts 3b, and stops between the protrusion shaped parts 3b. When the impact is large, the weight 6 pushes and stretches a leaf spring 3 at the position of the second protrusion shaped parts 3b, moves downward, stops at the bottom part inside a case, and can be visually confirmed from the outside through a window hole 7 at the lowest part. The weight 6 cannot return upward owing to the second protrusion shaped parts 3b. Accordingly, with respect to the external force in various circumstances, the impact received by the article in the plurality of different directions causing the quality deterioration such as a drop in a vertical direction or side fall is detected and the record of the received impact is retained.
