The client i.e. user agent client (UAC), has an emission interface for emitting a signaling message (M) towards an interface of a communication server (UAS), where the message conforms to a session initiation protocol (SIP). The client and the server are connected by a communication network. The client inserts an indication on the interface to be used by the server to emit a response signaling message (R) of the server, where the indication is inserted in the message (M). The indication contains a reserved word specifying the behavior to be respected by the server to choose an address. The address is used to emit the response signaling message. The word specifies that the address to be used is same as that of the interface. The word specifies that the address is determined in a random manner. The word indicates a semantic criterion to determine the address. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a communication server comprising interfaces (2) a method for communicating a signaling message between a client and a server that are connected together by a communication network (3) a communication network comprising a communication terminal (4) a communication equipment for receiving a incoming signaling message transported by a transfer control protocol.
