<p>PURPOSE: A method for screening an inhibitor of female skin aging is provided to rapidly diagnose the degree of skin aging using genes, to develop inhibitors using the genes, and to evaluate the inhibitors. CONSTITUTION: A method for screening an inhibitor of female skin aging due to deficiency of female hormones comprises: a step of treating cells with a test compound; and a step of checking whether the expression of TBX5 gene is suppressed in the cells after treatment. The method for also comprises a step of checking whether the expression of a gene is promoted in the cells after treatment. The gene is selected from a group consisting of SREBF1(SREBP1), LMO2, TFAP2A, XBP1, MEF2A, LEF1, RUNX2(OSF2), PATZ1(MAZR), ZNFN1A1, THRA, NKX2-5, SOX5, MYOG, MEIS1, IRF1, GATA3, AP1(FOS/JUN), TBP, SP1, HNF4A, KLF12(AP2REP), NKX2-1(TTF1), MYOD1, RUNX1(AML1), ZEB1 (AREB6), and TFAP2C genes.
