<p>A musical instrument digital interface (MIDI) parameter controller can be used to select up to 24 continuous MIDI control parameters using wired frets A of a guitar style neck D and a conductive string B and varies a selected control parameter by bending the string on the selected fret. A tension sensor C may be included to detect the variation in tension of the string. An instrument using the MIDI parameter controller may comprise the guitar style neck and a keyboard E.
