PURPOSE: A polymer electrolyte membrane is provided to have low ion exchange capacity, high hydrogen ion conductivity, thereby remarkably improving performance of the fuel cell. CONSTITUTION: A polymer electrolyte membrane includes a compound represented by chemical formula 1. In chemical formula 1, each of X,1 Y, and R is hydrogen, an aliphatic hydrocarbon group, an aromatic hydrocarbon group, a heterocyclic group, a reaction group, or a group capable of being substituted with the reaction group, n is an integer from 1-3, R is the same or different from each other and can form an aliphatic or aromatic monocycle or heterocycle, L is a connection group including at least one fluorine atom, s is an integer from 1-3, and M is an element from group 1, t is an integer from 1-3, and n+t is an integer from 2-4. |
