The present invention relates to a process for preparing aminotriazine alkoxylates, in which at least one aminotriazine alkoxylate (a) is admixed with at least one aminotriazine (b) and reacted with at least one alkylene oxide (c), where the aminotriazine alkoxylate (a) can be prepared by reaction of at least one aminotriazine (d) with at least one alkylene oxide (e) and/or at least one alkylene carbonate (g) and optionally at least one aminotriazine alkoxylate (f).
