Arrangement of an energy supply cable between a fixed substructure and a rotatable superstructure of an open-cast mining device

The arrangement has a rotary column (3) between power supply cable (1) and a rotary superstructure, and a cable saddle (7) rotatably mounted in middle of superstructure about two perpendicular axes. The first axis is a rotation axis of mining machine and second axis is formed in parallel to saddle. Both axes are connected by outwardly directed arm (8). The column has a horizontally annular disc on which a slide bearing is mounted such that the column is fixed in height and the arm receives bearing pins of saddle, while an upper cable saddle (6) is rotatably mounted on superstructure.
